The Parks and Recreation Department seeks to improve the quality of life for residents of The City of Douglasville. The Department maintains 7 parks which include 11 multi purpose baseball fields, 1 football complex, 1 soccer complex, 1 Miracle League baseball field, 7 court tennis complex, 2 community centers, 3 neighborhood parks and a 18 hole municipal golf course. Activities offered range from youth to adult sports, educational classes, day camps, and special events are offered throughout the year for the public’s enjoyment.
