Clothing Drive

A clothing give away will be held in conjunction with the City of Douglasville's school supply give away event Saturday August 4th at The Jessie Davis Memorial Park from 9am- 6pm.The Alice J. Hawthorne Center gymnasium at the Jessie Davis Memorial park will house the give away event. School supplies and lightly used clothing of all sizes will be available to the public. Saturday morning people interested in receiving clothing are only asked to bring patience as event organizers are expecting to serve hundreds of people at the clothing give away. The doors will open at 9:00am. Clothing will be distributed until 6:00pm. A collection of local church and civic groups coming together to bring relief to individuals and families in need.
